What is the rarest 10p coin?

Three 10p designs share the lowest circulation mintage, 283,000 each: the W 10p (World Wide Web), the Y 10p (Yeoman Warder) and the Z 10p (Zebra Crossing). The next rarest is the R 10p (Robin), with 284,000 struck.

What is the most valuable 10p coin?

In circulated condition the A 10p (Angel of the North) is worth the most, typically £8. In uncirculated condition the highest is the A 10p (Angel of the North), typically £11. Values were checked in September 2026.

How many 10p designs are there?

There are 31 10p designs from 1968 to 2026: 26 commemoratives and five definitives. Of these, one was not issued for circulation.

When did the 10p coin come out?

The first 10p coins were issued in 1968, carrying the Crowned Lion (NEW PENCE) 10p design. The newest 10p design is the Capercaillie 10p, first issued in 2023.
